Great Opportunity for BSI Students at PATA
On November 27, 2017, BSI students made excellent presentations for industry people at Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Siam Tower, Bangkok. This assignment was under the course SV 432 Cross-Cultural Management in a Global Environment supervised by Ms.Madeleine Recknagel, course instructor. It was a collaboration with Khun Theodore Koumelis, Founder & Managing Director of Travel Daily News Asia-Pacific.
The assignment was to create a Travel Daily News Decision Maker's Handbook regarding "The Profile of the Traveller", which required students to develop a questionnaire, define a demographic
segment and identify which daily habits and customs of Thais would affect their traveling decision and their attitude at the destination. Students presented their findings, ideas and solutions to Mr. Theodore and PATA officers. Feedback from the Industry was positive.
On behalf of Service Innovation Program, we would like to thank Travel Daily News Asia-Pacific and PATA for providing such a great opportunity for BSI students to share their idea and learn from industry people.
