In order to respond to rapidly emerging ideas and concepts in service innovation, the Master of Science Program in Service Design (MSD) works to produce graduates who are comfortable with creative problem solving as well as with practical and tangible out-of-the-box thinking. Sustainability and responsibility are crosscutting themes throughout the program, ensuring that graduates are well aware of the important role that the service industries play in sustainable development.
The MSD's international perspective is ideally suited to ensuring that graduates are competitive within the global marketplace. Program participants are drawn from the private, public and non-profit sectors thereby providing a rich environment within which service delivery can be better understood from an integrative perspective. The nature of the program delivery has been created to appeal to those from across all industry sectors, from small and medium-sized enterprises right up to and including larger organizations.
