Prof. Dr. Walter Jamieson FCIP

For more than 35 years, Walter Jamieson has worked to bridge the academic and consultancy worlds through creativity, innovation and out‐of‐the‐box thinking. His activities have been based on a sound set of responsible and sustainable values and principles.
Through his interdisciplinary education and experience, Jamieson brings creative thinking and practice in a number of areas through an integrated approach to the analysis and problem‐solving process. He has shared this development as a consultant, teacher, trainer, author, facilitator and researcher in more than 20 countries. He has been a member of faculty and management at universities in the United States, Canada, Thailand and Japan. His academic experience has been coupled with a wide range of consultancy projects. His major recent consultancy accomplishments are team leader for developing the ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan and the ASEAN Tourism Marketing Strategy and several projects for AECOM Singapore Pte. Ltd. He presently is involved in the development of the tourism master plan for Myanmar funded by ADB. Other projects in Asia include an ADB funded project developing a national tourism development plan for Cambodia, an impact study for Luang Prabang in Lao PDR carried out in cooperation with UNESCO and PATA and pioneering work with UN ESCAP in exploring the role of tourism in poverty reduction.
Supatcharajit has also published Handbook for the Hospitality Personnel/Staff and Handbook for Executives in the Hospitality Industry.
John Koldowski has extensive international experience in the fields of product management, sales, and marketing across industries as diverse as pharmaceuticals, fisheries, transport and tourism. In the last two decades John has specialised in the capture, interrogation and analysis of data especially as it relates to travel demand statistics across the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Koldowski further value adds to this process through the interpretation, visualisation and delivery of those data as inputs into the strategy formulation process.
These approaches place John in great demand as a speaker on the international stage as his fresh innovations across data analysis, interpretation and delivery provide a deep understanding of the complex issues behind the metrics that drive strategic opportunities in the services sector. Mr. Koldowski is currently a doctoral candidate with Mayfield University in the USA. John lives and works in Thailand.
